One of the most amazing promises Jesus ever made was that if you have faith in God without doubt your prayers will be answered.
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them” (Mark 11: 22 – 23).
Even Harry Potter and his wizard posse didn’t move mountains. But you, a mere Christian, are told that whatever you say will be done for you not with a wand or book of incantations but with faith alone.

Many pray for something and either do not get a quick answer or the answer is not what they had in mind. Maybe the thing you prayed for had an expiration date. The person you asked for got married to someone else. Someone you prayed would be healed died. If you’ve prayed a sincere mountain moving prayer and it didn’t come to pass, you probably started to feel a little embarrassed, maybe even foolish, and perhaps disappointed and a bit angry, especially if you shared this mountain moving prayer endeavor with others.
Believing that prayers were unanswered by God rather than believing in God causes many people to miss the opportunity for stability and peace. Come to God first with thanksgiving for what you have and forgiveness for others and yourself.
God answers every prayer of a sincere Christian with a heart willing to forgive.
